Fuel prices and low freight rates have put me out of business.
With not much of a demand for trucks and trailers these days,
i haven’t been able to sell them.Any ideas on what to do with
a truck and trailer that i can’t afford to drive an unable to sell?
How come truckers always leave their engines running at truck stops?
If you’ve ever driven cross-country and stopped overnight at a truck stop or rest area, you know what I mean. All the trucks have their engines running through the entire night. I’ve noticed this during the summer and winter, doesn’t matter which.
First of all, isn’t this a huge waste of fuel? And doesn’t it mean more stress on those big truck engines? But more than that, isn’t it just plain unsafe to be in a parked vehicle with the motor running?

What is considered high mileage for a truck?
I have seen trucks still for sale at local dealerships with over 200,000 miles on them and they are still asking over 10,000 dollars for them. I know that cars are allowed 12,000 to 15,000 miles per year standard. What is allowed for a truck? How much higher is it for diesels? Just in the market for one and want to be careful with my purchase. Thanks in advance for the help.
