without comments

Lots of people dream of making it happen, though much fewer actually follow through with it. Packing up a campervan with all your essentials, saying goodbye to friends and family, and hitting the open road with only a vague idea of where you are going and for how long. There are things you can see and places you can go in a campervan that you simple wouldn’t have experienced if you’d stuck with bog standard holidays, so what are the essential things to get right.

Van. There have been some nightmare stories of people failing to taking out reliable commercial van leasing deals and the van dying within the first few miles. If this is not some that appeals to you then it’s advisable to either purchase van and have it looked over by a professional or alternatively hire or lease a van from a well established company. Ford van leasing is an excellent option as these vehicles are sturdy and will rarely cause you any problems, but it is still a good idea to check them thoroughly before setting off just to make certain everything is working OK.

Money. You may think that you have budgeted for every eventuality, but you really can never know what is going to happen. You’ll have to take a certain amount of money for the essentials like food, drink and gas, but its well worth leaving some aside as a back up. Take some extra cash with you for things such as vehicle maintenance or any other emergency situation. It is advisable also to take a credit card or similar with you as you may find you need larger sums of money and you don’t want to be carrying this around in cash all the time.

Time. So you’ve got your Citroen van leasing sorted, you’ve packed it all up, now all you need is a relaxed state of mind. You really cannot expect to keep to a strict plan when you go on campervan vacations as you will almost certainly have your plans changed by weather, traffic, attractions, and many other things. You don’t want this happening to you so you should either buy a van that has been checked out by a professional or hire a van from a reputable company. Mercedes van leasing is a pretty good option as these vans are pretty sturdy and rarely break down, but always give them a good drive before you set off on your trip just to make sure everything works properly.

Here are 3 motors that should be considered for a Fly Drive!

without comments

If you’re considering a Fly Drive holiday anywhere in the world, it might be a good idea to decide on the car you’re going to get before you get to your desired location. Depending on whether you want a sporty car or a long runner, one of these cars would be best for you?

Let’s take a look at probably the not quite so sensible motor to consider, but possibly the most fun. If you think about it though, the sports car isn’t a great option, mainly because it isn’t designed for this kind of trip. Now the Honda S2000 is a favourite car in Canada, mainly because it is a very handsome motor. Well you just have to look at this car to fall in love with it, it is fast and very sexy with a horsepower of 237. There are a few down sides to this luxurious motor. The biggest problem is it’s size, it can only seat two people which won’t do anybody any favours. Although it has these disadvantages, it will be a great car to travel around in.

For those of us who love the planet, there is the mastered Toyota Prius. Personally thinking, this is the most boring of all the cars in this article, but it has much more advantages than its disadvantages. By far the Prius has the best fuel consumption, and with sixty five mpg it is hard to argue its importance. So it can last a long time for long drives and it’s very reliable, it is also cheap to run and is environmentally friendly. The problems are the fact it is a Prius, it is boring and slow, not at all adventurous.

This next particular vehicle is a favourite for many people. The Chevrolet Colorado is a juicy 4 wheel drive truck. It has a very comfy interior and being 4wd is excellent especially when driving off road or through some of the dirt tracks in Canada. For a Truck it is relatively beefy, it has a standard rate of 185 HP but only does 23 miles to the gallon. This truck can sit three people very comfortably and has a massive amount of room for all of your belongings. For obvious reasons this motor is going to be at the top of everyone’s list for choice.

So if you’re considering Canada holidays, then one of these three cars is a great consideration.  However some people may just want to relax on a Alaska Cruise.

Time in the Sun or Behind the Wheel

without comments

The time of year when people are going abroad is fast approaching, but this year is a lot different. As you already know we are in the midst of a huge credit crunch that has seen a vast amount of people lose their jobs, so effectively people are tightening their budgets to cope with the shortness of money. A lot of families have been going on holiday at least once or twice a year and also buying a car in the same year, but I am afriad this year people are going to have to choose between the two.

Are you caught up in the middle as to which one to choose and not to choose? Let us take a quick glance at the benefits of both of these to make your decision maybe that little bit easier. Lets first have a look at the holiday option

1) You will literally be able to be stress free for two weeks and not have a worry on your mind.
2) You will be able to top up your tan if you are going to a hot destination or simply relax by the pool.

Let us take a quick look at buying a new car.
1) Unlike a holiday a new vehicle will be with you for much more, so in the long run it would be a much healthier option to take.
2) A car is needed on a day to day basis, without a fully working car you will be unable to make your daily commute to and fro work.
3) By buying a new car you will be helping to save the environment, new cars are much more eco friendly.

As you can see both will have their benefits, but all in all buying a new vehicle will be the most rewarding because you are always going to need that new car.

Do you want to Buy a Honda or Buy a Nissan

The Top Transport Methods For Cruising In The USA

without comments

America is home to some of the best driving roads in the world. The most well known is probably the brilliant Route 66, but you will not have any problem finding lots more like it.There are some incredible highways crossing each and every way across the country so traveling long distances is easy really. But what is the best form of transport for youradventure holidays in America?

Camper van. Picking up one of these beasts in America is pretty easy as there are so many around. Equally, there will always be a buyer whereever you end up as well. This is a great way to see America if you are holidaying in a group as there will be lots of room for everyone. Its also pretty good if your budget isn’t massive as you’ve always got a bed to kip in and you can even prepare your own food

Convertible. There is no more iconic image that breezing along the straight long roads with the sun on your face and the wind through your hair. American people love their convertibles and so there are an incredible variety to take your pick from.  Personally I would go for an old Cadillac and would rent rather than buy one. This is what a lot of people do on their fly drive trips  All you need now is a model  girlfriend/boyfriend and some country and western on the radio to make your trip complete

Motorbike. Traveling around on two wheels is one way to put some fun into your trip, especially if you’re bike is big and the sun is out. This truly is the ultimate way to travel across the states and experience all that the American scenery and culture has to offer. When it comes to choice of bike, it really has to be a Harley Davidson, which again is an American institution that can be bought or rented from pretty much anywhere. If you go for this option then make sure you invest in some decent safety gear as the last place you want to end up on your trip is in the hospital
