Discover How You Can Pocket Eye-watering Numbers in Auto Bills

without comments

Even The Most Knowledgeable Auto Car Owners Can Save Thousands of Dollars in Future Car Repair Bills.

Although you’ve made the decision to buy yourself a car  and trust it will give thousands of trouble-free miles, it could still be a consideration to protect your investment with a auto warranty. This is true even for the most careful and knowledgeable of auto buyers.

That is because no matter how careful you are when you choose your vehicle , you could still end up with repair bills adding up to thousands of dollars at some point in the future. Have a look at these sample vehicle repair costs. *

Auto Engine Rebuild – $4,389

Overhaul Vehicle Transmission  – $1847+

Repair Auto Head Gasket – $1562+

Brake Replacement on Vehicle – $430+

Can you imagine the cover of  an extended car warranty. Imagine the peace of mind offered by a top-quality car warranty.

When you get auto warranty quotes it is dependendent on factors such as: model and make, how old is the car and special features like high-performance engines.

What’s Your Current Situation?

Under normal circumstances, when you first buy your car it will come with some kind of car warranty from the auto manufacturer. This is typically to cover you for major problems that occur within a set timeframe. This could be 3 years or a set number of miles (e.g. 36,000).

There’s every chance that you will want to hang in to your vehicle vehicle once the manufacturer’s auto warranty cover is over. Because the better build quality of modern auto cars means we tend to own them longer. This could be longer than the two or three years that we’re covered by the vehicle manufacturer’s auto warranty.

This is the reason it make sense to cover yourself from potential repair bills coming out of nowhere and catching you off-guard. Even if you’re thinking “I’ve done my research. I know that the vehicle car I’ve chosen is the most reliable in customer polls and magazines… I have nothing to worry about.”

You Could Be Gambling…

You may be shocked that one single car repair bill can run into thousands. However, with car warranty, you could be protected in the case of your vehicle breaking down in the future.

You Can Buy Your Peace of Mind.

With the cover of an auto warranty for your vehicle, you’ll not have to concern yourself with paying expensive repair bills. Even autos  cars with a good overall reputation for reliability can have mechanical problems that come out of the blue. So, if you think you’ll still own your  auto once the manufacturer’s car warranty cover has expired, then we highly recommend that you at least look into getting yourself protected. You can invest in a little peace of mind for yourself in these unpredictable times, because you’ll know you can get back on the road quickly without having to raise big amounts for repair costs.

How to buy a decent auto warranty cover for your auto.

1.      Watch Out! Never buy your extended warranty cover from the dealer that sold you your  vehicle . They get huge commission pay-outs on every warranty sold, and often they will not be acting in your best interests to get you to sign-up. But you’ll do much better, in price and cover, by going directly to a warranty company.

2.      Understand what you’re buying, especially the level of cover. The basic terms that you find are “wear and tear” and “mechanical” failure, both giving a different level of protection. For total cover, both terms need to be listed in the warranty proposal.

3.      Steer clear of budget extended auto warranties. You want to know that you are buying from a reputable company. Many cheap warranty companies are scam artists. They’re good for low rates but not so good at paying out claims. Always ask these questions:

a.      How long have they been providing auto-warranties?

b.      Are they financially secure?

c.      What is their claims process like?

4.      Act quickly! If you’re thinking about getting an extended auto warranty, then do it sooner rather than later. You’ll find that when a  vehicle  gets older, a warranty provider sees it as riskier business, so the quotes will be increasing while you’re thinking it over.

5.      It costs nothing to get lots of auto-warranty quotes, they’re free online. You can then easily see the best levels of cover and the most reasonable quotes side by side.

So, if your auto manufacturer’s cover is over, or is about to be, then it might be sensible to think about getting quotes on extended auto warranty cover.

Our most important advice is to suggest that you don’t get a dealer car warranty, because you can save lots of money by going direct to the warranty provider.

So if you’re thinking about getting an auto warranty, we highly recommend that you get a free, no-obligation quote from the only company we would endorse.

Used Audi TT - Special Offers Found!

without comments

I, much like a increasing proportion of consumers in the current economic climate, have reverted to buying Used Cars rather than new cars. There are two main reasons for this altered trend. The first is that naturally, Used Cars are considerably cheaper than buying new. Secondly, the depreciation costs as soon as you drive a new car away from the dealership are too harsh for most car drivers to bear. Hence, the Used Car market is experiencing something of a boom and I am happy to say that I have joined in.

After many hours research and viewing owner reviews on the web, I decided that a great car for me would probably be the Audi TT. The Audi TT is essentially a relatively powerful sports coupe with an abundance of power from the V6 engine. Some have described the Audi TT as a jet-powered rollerskate, but to me it represented so much more. The stylish Audi TT seems to have been designed for those who like to be seen and noticed and I guess I would class myself in that category.

However, this kind of luxurious motor doesn’t come cheap first hand, so I began to scour the Used Audi market for something a little more affordable. After minimal searching I discovered Sytner Used Audi Dealerships located up and down the country. Their website displayed a excellent number of extraordinarily priced Used Audi models which seemed like the kind of value I had been angling for.

A fantastically short visit to Sytner Used Audi later and I was test driving a nearly new Used Audi TT, which to be completely honest, ticked all my pre-requisite boxes. I paid my money and drove my Audi TT home, proving how easy it is to find an excellent car with very little effort.

I Love The Honda Jazz

without comments

Over the past few years there has been a huge growth in the market for superminis. Virtually every manufacturer has designed and produced their own take on the best small hatchback. When this is the case, it is often confusing trying to decide which is the best model for you and your family. I have taken the liberty of driving a selection of the bestselling superminis and have come to a conclusion regarding which is the best.

First of all I test drove the brand new Honda Jazz. The Honda Jazz has been gaining awesome popularity in the small hatchback world over the past couple of years. This is due to its impeccable styling, economical engines and capacious interiors. I found the drive of the Honda Jazz was far better compared to most of the competition.

The other model I tried was the Vauxhall Corsa, which has been selling well for many years. In all honesty I thought the Corsa seemed laboured and heavy, especially in the lower gears. It was also difficult to drive in terms of heavy handling. I also found the elevated driving position a little disconcerting.

Finally I tried the new Ford Fiesta, which has been a huge success since it was launched earlier this year. Whilst driving it I was reminded of one of the key complaints regarding the Fiesta. Many have said the handling is too light and I agree. In contrast to the Corsa, you genuinely don’t feel as though you are entirely in control of the Fiesta, which can be worrying on country roads.

In conclusion, I personally believe that the Honda Jazz provides the best value for money and the most engaging drive. It is the perfect juxtaposition between form and function and easily one the drive test. If you are looking for a supermini, I would recommend the superb new Honda Jazz.

Used Car Buying Guide – Avoid Getting Scammed

without comments

Straight up and honest dealing is not something car dealers are generally known for. Fair assumption or not, nobody wants to be turned over. They’ll try any stunt they think will help sell you a car. Here are a couple of tricks that they get up to which you need to avoid.

BAIT AND SWITCH – As old as the hills but still going strong.

  • You are checking out the car section of your local paper and see a great car for an amazingly low figure. You get really excited by the thought of a great deal so you charge down to the dealership. What a surprise, the car has already been sold. But there are other cars available right now with great packages for just a little more. You don’t want to seem rude so you decide to hear what they have to say. They will delay talking figures until they know you really want the car.

It is all about getting you through the door. Once you are inside the dealership there is no stopping them. You are on their patch, playing by their rules.

LESSON

  • Do your research on the manufacturers websites and get to know about all the different options available on the model you are interested in.
  • Having a friend with you can help if the dealer tries to put pressure on you.
  • Do’nt sign up to anything until you have read the paperwork completely.

POOR CREDIT RATING

  • The Finance Manager comes out and tells you that your credit rating is lower than it really is. In order to secure the loan the rate of interest will have to be higher as there is perceived greater risk. Making money doesn’t get easier than that!

LESSON

  • Check your credit rating prior to visiting the dealership. Take some proof to show them if they try it on. The figure you are given regarding your credit rating is the same regardless of the identity of the searcher. To find out your credit rating visit Experian or Equifax, both of whom can give you a credit report. If you start to feel uncomfortable leave and take your business elsewhere.

You’ll probably find this info. shocking. Let me tell you, there is plenty more that they get up to. These dealers are the slickest salesman out there.

If you are not careful these dealers will chew you up and spit you out. Get the full inside story from an ex-salesman who was sick of the hustle. Get all the information you need on all the stunts they try to get you buying the car. This stuff is dynamite.

If you want to a buying guide for used cars or any other type of vehicle, check out all the scams here now!

How to choose a freight forwarder

without comments

f your business needs to transport goods, then at some point, you will need the services of a freight forwarder. But what exactly do they do and how do you choose one?

Freight forwarders aid clients preparing price quotations by advising on freight costs, port charges, consular fees, costs of special documentation, insurance costs, their handling fees and recommendations on the best packing method to protect the goods while being transported. Pricing depends on the distance from the place of origin to the destination to special packing requirements such as refrigeration or, for instance, transportation of potentially dangerous materials.

The main objective of freight forwarding services is to deliver goods on time and in good condition on the right destination. Using established relationship with carriers like water-borne vessels, airplanes, trucks and railroads, freight forwarding services will ensure that the goods will be moved along the most economical route, choosing among the many quotes for the one which has the best comination of speed, cost and reliability.

The first thing to think about when choosing which freight forwarding company you will use is the company’s experience with the routes and products like yours. Other selection criteria includes: global coverage and local expertise, reference customers, wide product portfolio, and overall costs.

Global coverage and local expertise. The company should not only have an office in your area but to also have one where your goods originate from (if this is a different location) for easier communication should the need arise. Experience of moving freights, especially goods like yours, along these areas is an additional point. That means they understand how to handle and care for your goods.

Reference customers. Previous client referrals are a great source of information on how good a freight forwarder is. Good companies will provide references and track records of these readily.

Wide product portfolio. Freight forwarding companies which have been running long will be experienced in utilizing different transport modes available as well as providing additional value-added supply chain services if the need arises.

Overall costs. Although money matters are important, prices should not dictate your choice of freight forwarding  company, as cheaper price may compromise service quality.

Prior to listing possible freight forwarding partners, take note of your objectives, total cost, the coverage necessary for customer service, information technology and reporting needs. Other things like the commodities and their density, target date, location and market, and the kind of product and service level that you need are few of the information freight forwarders may need to know upon meeting.

Randomly select a few known and reliable potentials. Evaluate their feasibility and quantify potential benefits. Make a list of services you need and see which companies meet your requirements. You can narrow down your choices based on the findings you come up with. Further assess their abilities and experience by requesting references from previous clients and asking for their track records.

Freight forwarding is an integral part of the logistics, haulage & distribution, freight transport and road haulage chain, and if your business moves goods of any type it pays to udnerstand the industry.

Researching To Find Your Next New Car

without comments

When it comes to owning an automobile, most people in the United States buy a used car for their first vehicle and look forward to the time in the future when they can afford to buy new. When that time comes, it can be an important milestone in a person’s life. Let this be your quick car buying tips for women and men.

Next to a home mortgage, buying a car is one of the most significant purchases in a lifetime. It is important to be cautious and follow carefully planned steps when preparing to buy a new car.

The most enjoyable part of buying your first car is finding the right car.  Take your time and do research on the internet to find out about different makes and models of new cars.  By researching you will be able to decide which car suits you best.  Decide if you need a sedan, a compact car, mid-size, or truck. Some of this isn’t rocket science. It’s almost like car buying for dummies.

Once you know what you want to buy, the next thing to do is research the best options in the car category which best suits you.  Continue researching until you have narrowed your vehicle search down as far as possible.  Consult with friends, families, and car experts to find out about their experiences with cars they have owned.  Learn about performance, their favorite cars, and why they liked them.  Use this information to make your decision.

Once you have decided on a vehicle, next research prices.  Don’t even visit a dealership until you know the average invoice price on a vehicle.  Invoice price is the price the dealer pays for the vehicle.  You will not get that price, but you need this information as a bargaining chip.

The dealer expects to make a profit, but knowing the invoice price will enable you to fairly compare sticker prices at different dealerships.  You will be able to determine a reasonable and fair price for your vehicle.

The most important thing you can do before buying a new car is research, research, research.  Once you know what is available and understand reasonable pricing you will be confident when you visit a dealership.  You will be confident and well informed which will translate into your getting the best deal on your new car.

Honda reopens Swindon factory

without comments

Thousands of workers at Honda’s Swindon factory have returned to work after production was halted for four months in response to the struggling car market. All 3,400 of the returning workers will be taking a pay cut until 2010 but are pleased that their jobs are finally guaranteed after the uncertainty of the last four months.

The factory was forced to close while the company decided on the best way of dealing with the problems caused by the global recession and the effect the economic downturn has had on the number of car sales and contract hire agreements. The motoring industry has been hit hardest of all and almost all car manufacturers are having difficulty staying afloat, but the situation at Honda and how they have recovered could stand as an example to other companies who are still struggling. Tamporarily suspending production at the Swindon plant has given them opportunity to discuss and make decisions about the company’s future as well as perform long-planned maintenance work. During the four months downtime the production lines were stripped down and rebuilt, and they took the opportunity to redecorate the whole plant, wherever possible using existing employees with the relevant specialist skills or training.

But not everything is good news. A further 1,300 Swindon employees chose to take voluntary redundancy at the time of the closure, many of whom still have not managed to secure alternative employment. And though the workers now have peace of mind that their jobs are safe, their pay has been cut by 3%, or 5% in management roles, for the first 10 months. The plant is only running at 50% of its normal capacity, with a predicted total production of 113,000 vehicles in 2009, less than half the original intended number of 228,000.

In short, it’s a small victory but the company is not out of the woods yet, Honda car leasing and sales figures will have to increase significantly over the next few months if they want to avoid any further disasters. The new Honda Jazz model, due to start production at Swindon in September, should increase sales and give a clearer picture of the long-term future of the Swindon factory. Not to mention as the economy begins to recover buyers will be taking advantage of low car prices as across the board from Honda to Mercedes, car leasing and purchase prices are cheaper than ever.

Takeover could mean cutbacks for Vauxhall

without comments

Thousands of UK workers are at risk of losing their jobs over the recent collapse of American car manufacturing giant General Motors (GM). The company has filed for bankruptcy in the US, leaving the future of all its staff uncertain. GM Europe, which consists of UK brand Vauxhall and the German Opel, has been bought out by Canadian car parts company Magna International.  But although this means that both the British and German brands will continue production, a fall in demand for car sales and car leasing deals could mean that Magna will be making significant job cuts.

The worry for Vauxhall is that Magna is a relatively unknown company in the UK, with ties to the Russian vans company run by oligarch Oleg Deripaska and the Russian bank Sberbank. This has led to speculation that production at Vauxhall’s Luton plant, a joint venture with Renault where Trafic and Vivara vans are made, could be moved to Russia, leaving the Luton’s 1,400 workers without jobs. The German government also had a part to play in ensuring that the takeover was a success, leading to fears that all the company’s German plants could be protected and that any cutbacks would have to be made in the UK. However this is all speculation at this point as Magna are still assessing the situation before making any decisions and have said they will do all they can to protect as many jobs as possible.

For Vauxhall’s 5,500 UK workers, all they can do is to remain hopeful that the company will recover quickly after the takeover by Magna, who obtained the company over other potential buyers including Italian car manufacturer Fiat. Car leasing and car sales will need to improve soon for the decision to keep factories open to be viable. In the meantime for buyers interested in purchasing a car from Vauxhall, car leasing could be a better option as it enables you to choose from a wider range of vehicles, and is less likely to leave you in a difficult position if the company suffers any further disaster in the future.

The Majority Of Vehicles On Our Roads Would Not Survive An EMP

without comments

A new study over 90% of all cars on the road in the UK and around 85% of the vehicles in the US would be rendered completely useless if an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) were to be released upon them. The research, which was commissioned by habia cable management producer Hellerman Tyton, showed that almost all cars would cease to work and cost thousands to repair if they were in an EMP blast zone.  They did say that it would depend on the location and intensity of the blast but the technology out there is capable of wiping out all electrical equipment within a 200 mile radius.

Electromagnetic pulses work by generating such a large electrical current that it fries all semiconductor components in electrical devises beyond repair. This means that any electrical devices that include semiconductors, which include all computers, phones and media devices, would be completely ruined. Modern cars also have a whole host of electrical equipment built into them and would suffer massive failure of all its electrical components. As we relay so heavy on our vehicles for transport, this would have a massive effect on the economy of the effected country. This is why a large number of countries are not only concerned about the technology but also looking into developing it themselves.

Hellerman Tyton go on to say that soon even more cars would be prone to an EMP due to the governments new car scrappage scheme. Cars that are being made nowadays include a much greater amount of electrical implements than older cars. These developments may increase their functionality but at the same time they are becoming increasing fragile to electrical attacks.  Even the new obstuction light technology being fitted to a lot of cars will no longer work if they are subject to an EMP burst. There is not a vast amount we can do to protect ourselves unfortunantly as their will also be an ever increasing demand for the newest technology to be put in our cars. We can only really hope that no one decided to use an EMP bomb any time soon
