BMW Z4 Still Intimidates
The BMW Z4 still makes grown men go ga-ga. The next evolution forward past the Z3, the Z4 remains the only two-seat sports car in BMW’s lineup. This car was created to respond to the BMW Z3’s dissapointments, that it is a bigger car, stiffer chassis, and a mutli-link rear suspension. To some surprise, the Z4 is very much your vintage sports car. The Z4 brings a front engine sending power to rear wheels, a long and slopped down hood leading to the driver, and ample legroom for driver and passenger. The total experience is mind numbing, thanks in part to its tight handling and powerful straight six cylinder engine. Up against the Porsche Boxster and Honda S2000, the Z4 comes is the stronger, both in terms of looks and power.
Though BMW produced a coupe version of the Z4 in 2005, the convertible version remains the most popular and fulfilling.
