  • Camaro includes five generations

In the early part of 1967, the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors had made a decision to release its superb car model dubbed as Chevrolet Camaro.  This vehicle was essentially developed to smother the acclamation for Ford’s Mustang.  It has a compact size, glorious style, and sporty look.  In this, it’s been considered as a pony car.

The Camaro auto of Chevrolet basically includes five generations.  The first one has in fact a unibody construction with a convertible and coupe body styles.  It has a cutting edge GM F-body platform rear-wheel drive, new configuration of front-engine, 2 doors, and 4 seats.  The second generation of Chevy Camaro on the other hand, was established in the month of February 1970.  It is larger in comparison to the first generation and so, it is much heavier.  Nonetheless, it has a unibody construction and a platform of an F-body.  It also encompasses a front suspension of A-arm, leaf springs, as well as a front secondary frame.  It was then in 1982 when the third generation of Camaro was first introduced in the auto market.  It has state of the art features like 16-inch wheels, 4 tube engines, 4-speed mechanical transmission, 5 gear manual transmission, contemporary fuel injection, multipurpose rear door body, and cylinder Turbo Hydramatic.  Thus, it is claimed to be more high-tech than the two first generations.  The 4th generation conversely, has 6-speed manual transmission, anti-lock brakes, V-6 or V-8 engines, and prominent traction control.  The last and recent generation of Chevy Camaro has just been released in the market early this year with more improved traits.  As a matter of n interesting point, it already has 6-speed manual and automatic transmission shift for simple automobile maneuvering as well as a coupe body structure keeping the real identity of Camaro.

Indeed, Chevrolet Camaro is a striking vehicle model.  It comes in several generations with striking characteristics which will certainly awe any vehicle user.  Therefore, there is not any wonder as to the reasons why it has successfully regained its popularity in these times.
